I don't usually review on yelp, but this place was actually amazing. I got the chicken shawarma and the flavor was delicious. I am definitely going to come back again and again and again. My boyfriend got the chicken deluxe and he said it was amazing as well. He thought the chicken shawarma was a little easier to eat, but it tasted good. 10/10 recommend. The people working were super helpful and friendly.
I happened upon the Cafe Bon Appetit just a week after it opened. It is a Mediterranean café, sharing a space with Cassa. The owner could not have been more accommodating. The menu is large, with many healthy Mediterranean food options. I ended up with the apple and cranberry salad, which was generously large. I appreciate the healthy, fresh meal options and definitely plan on returning.
Loved dining in! The employee was very helpful and friendly. He offered us free falafel to try, and helped us find what we wanted on the menu. In the picture, you can see the detail that the cooks put into the presentation. The food was delicious! My only complaint is that the layout is small and a bit crowded.
I used to come here when I was at school. Now working in the area, I decided to stop by since it's been a while. Their salads really are lovely. I was always a fan of the chicken caesar, delicious and absolutely huge. This time around I got the Tuna Melt sandwich to go to switch things up (7.99). It came open faced with a lot of cheese, some greens tomatoes and red onions. Overall I think the sandwich wasn't too bad but it doesn't beat out the salads. I think I'll stick with them. Considering how tired I was I decided to grab a mocha as well. Don't get the mocha. It honestly wasn't good and you have other coffee options very close by. Come for the salads and leave satisfied.
A little hole-in-the wall place across from Cleveland State, zero decor, plastic utensils, and only very limited seating (but do note that CSU has a couple of picnic tables across the street, so if the weather is nice-- get the takeout). They're very proud of their middle-eastern food (falafel, schwarma, etc), but the salads are large and tasty, and the breakfast crêpe is good at any time, not just for breakfast.
